1. Candidates Page

The Candidates page displays the following:

  • Candidates who applied to job posts created within Wantedly Hire
  • Candidates manually added to Wantedly Hire
  • Candidates imported from other third-party recruitment sites

Note: The visibility of some candidates may be restricted based on the member’s permissions. The visibility of a candidate depends on access rights to the associated Job, visibility settings of the job post, and any direct link to the specific candidate.

Use the [Filters] on the left side of the screen to narrow down candidates to display.

 

2. Adding a Candidate

    1. Navigate to [Candidates]
    2. In the upper-right corner, click [+Add candidate]
    3. Enter information into each field
      Required fields: Last Name, Job name, Job step, Source
      • Job name: Select which Job this candidate will proceed with
      • Step: Select the step from which to start the candidate process
      • Job summary: Provide a summary of responsibilities from the candidate's most recent job
    4. At the bottom of the screen, click [Add new]

 

3. Deleting a Candidate

    1. Click [Candidate]
    2. Click the candidate you wish to delete
    3. In the upper-right corner, click [...]
    4. Select [Delete]

 

4. Set a Candidate to Private / Public

4-1. Candidate Visibility

Setting a candidate private restricts other members of your account from accessing the candidate’s details.

Note: Only members who have the ‘Able to make candidates private and view’ checkbox active in Organization settings > Members can access private candidates.

4-2. Change a Candidate’s Visibility

Make a candidate private:

    1. Navigate to [Candidates]
    2. Click the candidate you wish to set to private
    3. In the upper-right corner, click [‥]
    4. Select [Make private]

Make a candidate public:

    1. Navigate to [Candidates]
    2. Click the candidate you wish to set to public
    3. In the upper-right corner, click [‥]
    4. Select [Public]

 

5. Edit Candidate Information

5-1. Edit a Candidate Profile

    1. Navigate to [Candidates]
    2. Click [Profile]
    3. Click [Edit]
    4. Edit the profile as needed and click [Save changes]

5-2. Adding Tags

Adding tags allows your team to categorize candidates, making it easier to note specific candidate characteristics or track internal actions for each candidate.

    1. Click [+Add tag]
    2. Select the relevant tag or click [Manage tags] to add new tags

5-3. Set Candidate’s Preferred Job Change Timing

You can set a candidate’s preferred job change timing if you know when the candidate wishes to change jobs.

    1. Click the caret icon () next to the flag icon at the upper-left corner of the screen
    2. Select the candidate’s preferred job change timing

 

6. Candidate Tabs

6-1. Profile

    • Profile: Displays the candidate's profile information. To make changes to the candidate profile, select [Edit] from the top-right corner.
    • Salary information: Displays the candidate's salary information. Click [Edit] on the right to edit these fields, and click [Save changes] once finished.

Note: Only users with the ‘Allow access to private content’ permission can view salary information.

6-2. Timeline

The following actions will be updated on the candidate timeline:

    • Candidate’s hiring process is completed
    • Candidate is added via CSV import and linked to a job
    • Candidate applies to a job through the career page
    • Candidate is auto-imported and applies to a job
    • Candidate’s current step changes
    • Candidate’s public status changes
    • Hiring process resumes for a closed candidate

6-3. Attachments

Add any attachments related to the candidate, such as resumes or portfolios.

    • To add documents: Drag & drop or browse files from your computer.
      After uploading, you can edit the document type.
    • To download documents: Click [‥] next to the document and select [Download]
    • To delete documents: Click [‥] next to the document and click [Delete]

6-4. Jobs

All jobs that the candidate is linked to will be displayed under the Jobs tab
